Slotly (“Slotly”, “we”, “us”) is a personal planning app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Account information

If you sign in, we may collect:

• Email address (if provided by your sign‑in method)
• A user identifier (for authentication and syncing)

1.2 Content you create in the app

We process the content you choose to store in Slotly, such as:

• Tasks, events, lists, notes, descriptions, and related metadata (dates/times, reminders, recurrence, etc.)

1.3 Device and app information

We may collect limited technical information necessary to run and improve the app, such as:

• App version, device model, operating system version
• Diagnostic information (for stability and troubleshooting)

1.4 Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase Slotly Pro, the purchase is processed by the platform store (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play). We receive non‑sensitive purchase status information (for example, whether your subscription is active) to unlock Pro features.

2. How we use your information

We use information to:

• Provide core app functionality (creating and displaying your tasks/events)
• Sync your data across devices (if syncing is enabled)
• Provide customer support and respond to requests
• Improve performance, reliability, and user experience
• Manage and verify Pro entitlement (subscriptions / purchases)

3. Google Calendar integration (optional)

Slotly includes an optional Google Calendar integration. It is disabled by default and only works if you choose to enable it.

3.1 What access we request

When you enable Calendar integration, Slotly may request Google permissions such as:

• Read access to import events from a calendar you select
• Write access only if you use features that export or fully synchronize events (for example, creating/updating events in Google Calendar)

Slotly requests these permissions only when you enable and use the Calendar integration features.

3.2 What we do with Google Calendar data

Depending on the mode you choose:

• Import: Slotly reads events from the calendar you select and shows/stores them inside Slotly.
• Export / Full sync: Slotly may create or update events in a calendar (for example, a “Slotly” calendar) to reflect changes you make in Slotly.

We do not sell Google Calendar data. We use it only to provide the integration you requested.

3.3 Disconnecting

You can disable Calendar integration at any time in the app settings. You can also revoke Slotly’s access from your Google Account permissions page.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in these cases:

• Service providers: infrastructure and platform services needed to run the app (for example, authentication, cloud storage/sync, and notifications). They process data on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• With your actions: when you intentionally connect third‑party services (e.g., Google Calendar), data is exchanged with that provider to perform the requested feature.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes (for example, maintaining your account and synced data). You can request deletion as described below.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your information.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children’s privacy

Slotly is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International transfers

If you use Slotly from outside the country where our servers/service providers are located, your information may be processed in other countries.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above and, if changes are significant, provide additional notice.
